Discover the beauty of nature with these two elegant plates. Each is handcrafted from wild mountain cherry wood by craftsmen in Aizuwakamatsu City, Fukushima Prefecture (often said to be the birthplace of woodworking). These plates are made from the villages cherry tree (Yamazakura), which is characterised by its hard properties, light tone, and glossiness after polishing. The wood passes through many stages such as drying, shaving, and shaping with utmost care.

These large sized plates are a beautiful addition to any table.

Each piece is truly unique and will be reflected in the difference of wood grain.

Comes packaged in a brown paper lidded box.

Before use: Wipe gently with a damp cloth moistened with water and wrung out before use.

Care:
- Do not place near fire or open flames
- Do not leave the product soaked in water or with moist objects or food on it for prolonger periods
- Do not use highly acidic substances such as vinegar or lemon
- After use, wash the product as soon as possible with just warm water or a mild and natural dish detergent in warm water and a soft sponge
- Wipe dry with a soft cloth immediately after washing, and leave to air dry fully before storing away
- Do not use in a dishwasher or dryer
- Store out of direct sunlight
