About: Hyosankama
The Hyozangama kiln has a long tradition of pottery production within Japan. When Yozaemon, the fourth generation of the Hyozangama kiln, presented vessels to Nobunaga Oda, he was praised for his technique; and when presented to Oda Nobunaga he was praised for his technique and given a red seal and the family name of "Hashiba" to authorise the production of pottery.
