Product Description

This kurinoki chestnut wood serving spoon is crafted with a comfortable handle and Marumitsu Poterie's signature [m’] mark branded on the backside. It is useful for scooping side dishes such as salads and simmered food. Its deep head allows it to also be used for serving stews also.

Chestnut wood is highly durable and water-resistant with a long history of use in Japan – being traditionally used for house foundations and railroads. Its beautiful clear wood grain captures a rustic feel.
