Product Description

Handcrafted in Japan using Iga-yaki, a highly-regarded type of traditional ceramics. These everyday cups were designed by renowned art director Kaoru Watanabe for Azmaya. A true testament to centuries-old craftsmanship and the beauty of local clay and glaze from the Iga region.

We recommend pairing with the Dobin Teapot - Lime (sold separately).

Also available in a black candy glaze finish.

Details

Handcrafted in Iga, Mie, Japan.

Materials: Iga clay, lime glaze.

Holds approximately 250ml

Measurements: Approximately 7cm x H7.6cm

Care: Not dishwasher safe, not microwave safe. Before first use we recommend placing the teacup in a pot with rice water and boil for about 10 minutes, it will add a layer of protection from stains and odours. For this lighter lime glaze soaking in lukewarm water before use can help mitigate stains to some extent.

Please note as each piece is handcrafted with natural materials, there may be slight differences between items, such as glaze colour/finish and cup shape.
