Hojicha powder itself is difficult to produce, which is why it is hard to find. For Kurasu's Hojicha, they select only the finest grade leaves and carefully roasted to preserve the sweetness, aroma and Umami.

Perfect for making delicious Hojicha latte’s. A great way to add a Japanese touch to any baked goods, and it is also an excellent ingredient to add richness and fragrance to your cooking.

  • Hojicha roasted green tea powder
  • Sugar/honey/agave syrup
  • Hot water

Hojicha syrup ratio:

Hojicha powder : Sugar/honey/agave syrup : Hot water = 1 : 1 : 5

 

Hojicha Latte Recipe:

What you need: 

  • Hojicha syrup
  • Milk
  • (Ice cubes)

Hot Hojicha latte: 

  • 150g steamed milk
  • 30g hojicha syrup

Iced Hojicha latte: 

  • 150g milk
  • 35g hojicha syrup
  • 90 to 100g whole ice cubes
