This compact wooden dry bonito shaver is an essential tool for anyone who wants to make fresh slices of dry bonito at home, which can be used for dashi broths and garnishes. Bontio flakes are a stable in Japanese cooking.
A petite and handy size makes this shaver the perfect size for home cooks. Simply slice the dried bonito over the blade, and instant dry bonito flakes will build inside the base section. The lidless design is not as tall as other shaver box's, so it can easily store away neatly in your kitchen.
